The Chicago Bears have been on a losing-streak of late, but their luck looks like it may have turned as WR Johnny Knox, leading the NFL in yards per catch (19.8) who left Sunday’s game against Seattle on a stretcher after losing a fumble on a catch at the Bears 24, is now expected to fully recover according to a medical expert.
While Knox was hit high and his head snapped back, “Neurologically, he’s completely fine,” said Nee Anand, the director of Orthopaedic Spine Surgery at the Cedars-Sinai Spine Center in Los Angeles. “The only thing left is the nature of the stability,” the Surgeon told Chicago Sun-Times. Knox is expected to have surgery Monday in Chicago.
