Texas Republican presidential candidate and House Representative Ron Paul has a lot of explaining to do as news has surfaced indicating that he knowingly ok’d articles that appeared in his newsletters in the 1980s and 1990s that have been deemed racist, anti-Semetic and homophobic.
The Washington Post released an interview of two former Paul aides who claim they witnessed Paul proofing the newsletter before it was published. Paul’s secretary, Renae Hathway, said, “It was his newsletter, and it was under his name, so he always got to see the final product. He would proof it.”
Paul and his staff have argued on the campaign trail that he did not write, approve of or see the offensive material.
