Another TV series prepares to bite the dust, and viewers gather around work-place water-coolers throughout the world to debate the most pressing issues of the day. This week, it’s not simply “Who Killed Jenny”, but “Which Lesbian Couple Will Go the Distance?” As someone who doesn’t regularly read spoilers or the blogs containing them, I do not claim to know what will actually happen in the L Word’s series finale. Nevertheless, I have devoted the last hour of this morning to compile a list of predictions that I think best flow from events that have unfolded in the series thus far.
Here are my predictions:
TiBette breaks up once Jenny tells Tina what she thinks she saw and Tina’s old college crush corroborates the lie. Tina wants to start fresh in NY. Bette will move to NY to try to win Tina back.
TashAlice breaks up because Tash wants the 3rd wheel, and the 3rd wheel seems pretty cool…Alice doesn’t like Tash or her friends, but likes how pretty she is and how good in bed she may be. It’s in Tash’s best interest to jump ship, and so she will, leaving Alice to start up a new late-night radio talk show and dating chart.
HeleDylan lives happily ever after. Dylan’s grateful anyone in LA would want to date her after what she did to Helena. She wants redemption and needs it from Helena. Helena’s desperate and suffers from Stockholm’s syndrome. She needs to know that her abuser still wants her. Apparently, they’ve gone through the worst of it, unless Dylan walks off again because Helena’s not actually able to fully shake off the mountain of insecurity she should feel about Dylan’s true motives.
Kit hooks up with that sorry excuse for a man…despite wondering what straight man both dresses AND performs in drag, and leaving viewers wondering what sane woman finds that remotely sexy?
Max kills herself and her unborn child because she thought she was lesbian but then started having vaginal sex with a gay man and now finally realizes she’s just frakkin beyond insane.
Shane hooks up with the actress, who seems to like her for the tramp she is, compelling Jenny to KILL HERSELF and stage it like a murder just to get one last bit of satisfying revenge. RIP Jenny!!!!!! 🙁
