Apparently deceased former NFL quarterback Steve McNair did not leave behind a will, according to his wife, Michelle McNair, who must file an inventory of all of her husband’s assets within 60 days of his death. According to records filed with authorities, McNair’s estate is vast enough to warrant administering.
McNair, was shot four times and killed by his girlfriend Sahel Kazemi, who then used the same gun to shoot herself in the head, according to a Nashville police investigation and Tennessee Bureau of Investigation report release last week.
Police believe that Kazemi placed a 9mm handgun near McNair’s left temple and pulled the trigger with both hands, then she shot him twice in the chest before shooting him in the right temple, most likely with the gun to his head on the final shot. She then shot herself in the temple, taking time beforehand to position herself in a way that she would tumble into the quarterback’s lap.
McNair is survived by Michelle and their two children, Tyler and Trenton.
