Before his shocking SoHo drug overdose, DJ AM had planned a tell all book. He has battled substance abuse, used gastric bypass surgery to treat obesity, dated a slew of Hollywood starlets and, of course, most recently fought for his life after that tragic plane crash, so it’s no wonder he had planned to reduce his experiences to writing.
“I will definitely be writing a book,” DJ AM told sources at Activision’s DJ Hero launch at the Wiltern Theatre in L.A. back in June. “I’ll work on it when I see the ending in sight. That may be a long time from now, but it will happen.”
Well, if DJ AM was back on crack rock, is it too much to speculate that he figured the “end” was near enough to finish the book? Being best known for working the celebrity club scene, dating starlets including Nicole Richie and Mandy Moore, and his huge sneaker collection of about 1,000 pairs, DJ AM had much to write about.
