“Darkwing Duck #2”, the hit comic book series based on the Disney animated TV series of the same name, has sold out, sending everyone’s favorite masked mallard into 2nd printing. This follows on the heels of the announcement that “Darkwing Duck #1” sold out and went to reprint early last month. The “Darkwing Duck #2”second print features an action packed wrap-around cover variant by James Silvani.
“Darkwing Duck” explores the adventures of the superhero, aided by his sidekick and pilot Launchpad. In his secret identity of Drake Mallard, Darwing lives in an unassuming suburban house with his adopted daughter Gosalyn, next door to the bafflingly dim-witted Muddlefoot family. Darkwing struggles to balance his egotistical craving for fame and attention against his desire to be a good father to Gosalyn and help do good in St. Canard.
The in-store date for “Darkwing Duck #1” 2nd print was September 1st with “Darkwing Duck #2” 2nd print hitting store shelves on September 15th. “Darkwing Duck #4” is scheduled to ship on September 22nd.
