Confession in Tulsa Shooting Spree Targeting Black Residents

TULSA, OK – Police in Tulsa, Oklahoma, have arrested two men identified by tipsters as assailants and in a shooting spree that left three people dead and two injured.  All of the victims were African Americans.  The shootings terrorized a predominantly black section of Tulsa.

Police said the suspects, Jacob England and Alvin Watts, white males, drove through the streets of north Tulsa in a pickup truck and randomly shot pedestrians.  Police are cautious in labeling the killings as a hate crime, but several local officials said the shootings were racially motivated.  Less than 24 hours before the deadly shooting spree England posted on Facebook, “Today is two years that my dad has been gone shot by f**king n**gers.”

Alvin Watts, 33, has reportedly admitted to killing two victims, and has said Jacob England, 19, killed one victim and shot the two victims who survived during the Good Friday North Tulsa.
Victims Dannaer Fields, 49, Bobby Clark, 54, and William Allen, 31, died.  David Hall, 46, and Deon Tucker, 44, were shot in a yard and survived.
