Debbie Allen calls Raven Symone a Heifer: US News Stokes Fire

US News is reporting that “Fame” 2009 star Debbie Allen criticized “That’s So Rave” star Raven Symone, by calling her a “heifer” in statements given during an interview with Allen and US News. The online version of the magazine quotes Allen as saying “I was wondering how they knew me and then they say, ‘Do you know Raven?’ I’m like, ‘Of course, I know that little heifer! I love that girl.'” But the opening paragraph of their article featuring Allen reads “Raven-Symone — who has received her share of criticism from online “haters” for her body — has found a new critic: Her Disney costar.”
