This is a sad moment for television audiences everywhere. Now that VH1 has pulled the plug on “Megan Wants a Millionaire” and removed all mentions of the reality series from its website, audiences can’t watch Ryan Jenkins’ depraved heart slowly reveal itself on TV.
Jenkins, once so keen to cavort in the public eye, is thought to have scurried across the Canadian border now that he is wanted in the strangulation and murder of his wife, Jasmine Fiore, a former swimsuit model. Reports state that Jenkins has now been officially charged with murder in absentia.
This is a tragic period for Fiore’s survivors, who saw no signs of trouble between Fiore and Jenkins. But certainly Jenkins’ penchant for reality TV might have been just the signal a jealous or nosy “friend” might have needed to dig deep into the “CEO of Canada’s” background. Time will tell whether Fiore had such “friends.”
