Danny Strong, “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” alum known for his role as the not-so-villainous Jonathan Levinson, has inked a deal with Sony to adapt “The Butler”, a story about an African-American butler’s career at the White House. The feature is based on Wil Haygood’s Washington Post story “A Butler Well Served by This Election” which was published shortly after the last presidential election. “The Butler” will chronicle the life of White House Butler Eugene Allen and his work for eight presidents from 1952 through 1986. The feature caps it all off with impressions and reflections on President Obama’s election.
