Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) destroy a group of vampires that are feeding off of young Twi-hearts. Young and pretty boys and girls go missing as the vampires strive to build an army of followers. Dean gets vamp blood introduced into his blood stream while fighting off a fat and randy male vamp, and Sam stands by, watching with glee. What’s going on here? Does he want Dean to turn into a vampire? Well, grandpa Samuel Winchester ( Mitch Pileggi) asks Sam the same question when he realizes that Sam knew about the cure for vampirism and didn’t tell Dean, who has already turned into a fanger.
Dean’s got to get the blood of the fat queer vampire who turned him if he wants the cure to work. Ever ready, Dean mans up, infiltrates the nest and hacks his way to salvation on his own, sending torrents of blood and body parts flying. He kills everyone, except the elusive head vampire who uses psychic energy to control his vamps.
As he’s being cured, Dean remembers that Sam watched him get infected by the vampire and intentionally failed to come to his aide. Bet he’s now convinced something definitely wrong with Sam. My question is ‘can we be sure Sam is Sam?’ What if he’s Lucifer?
