Tim Geithner: It’s Going To Feel Very Hard For A Long Time

Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner told media talking heads Sunday that most Americans will face hard times for quite some time to come given the current state of the U.S. economy. Despite President Obama’s efforts to revive the economy through big business bailouts recommended by the Federal Reserve and the Treasurer, as well as the threatened austerity measures currently lobbied by White House Chief of Staff Bill Daley and his banking industry friends, the United States will not recover any time soon from the downward spiral. Geithner revealed his belief that it will be some time before many people feel like the country is recovering.

On NBC’s “Meet the Press,” Geithner said that it’s a very tough economy. “[I]t’s going to feel very hard, harder than anything they’ve experienced in their lifetime now, for a long time to come.”
