Warehouse 13 Ep.10 Breakdown: Review [Spoilers]

marksheppardWhat’s up with Claudia (Allison Scagliotti)? How does a high-tech hacker become a klutz and find herself at the center of every near-disaster? This week, she gets trapped in a life-sized replica of the bed & breakfast that agents Pete (Eddie McClintock) and Myka (Joanne Kelly) call home. Pete and Myka are entrapped while trying to rescue her. Of course, they manage to escape, but only to face new challenges once they do.

Pete gets caught in a room containing ‘the most dangerous artifacts,’ including Sylvia Plath’s typewriter, which briefly lures Pete into the “Bell Jar.” Who knew he had a melancholic side?

Meanwhile, Artie (Saul Rubinek) meets the mysterious “Regents,” whom I’m now starting to think are aliens or other beings with super-powers. Valda (Mark Sheppard) is the mouthiest of the Regents, and gives Artie a hard time, forcing Mrs. Frederic (CCH Pounder) to defend him. The Regents question Artie’s competency. Why are they scared of James McPherson, Artie’s old partner? And is Mrs. Frederic a Regent, or merely a player? We don’t know now, but time will tell.

Next week, look for Battlestar Galactica alum Michael Hogan to guest star as Myka’s father, who gets infected with Edgar Allan Poe’s prose.

SYFY’s Warehouse 13 captured 2.926 viewers for it’s Wednesday night airing.
