As I was cruising the Gossip blogs a few days ago, I noticed that rap star T.I. has just been dropped by Axe Body Spray as it’s spokesperson for possessing marijuana when arrested for a traffic violation. I couldn’t help but think, “Lucky you TI.” What a socially lame company to be associated with anyway if they think marijuana usage will ruin their brand’s image. As if successful, influential people don’t also occasionally get high. Isn’t that what the guys are rapping about anyway?
T.I. recently had a movie open at Number 1 in the box office, and personally, I don’t care if he and his girlfriend/wife, or whoever she is, likes to get high. I don’t really even care that he might have a gun fetish. And I seriously doubt that the people who buy Axe care either.
Now, aside from all that, what I really want to say is T.I. should play Jimi Hendrix in a big budget Hendrix Biopic. Check out the pics below. What do you think?
